Disclaimer: The picture above is of a light duty bookcase hidden door that does use particle board and is not made by a Master Craftsman.  This door is an inexpensive and easy way for anyone to build their own hidden door that can lock, unlock, open and close automatically - at the push of a button! Purchase these DIY Plans here >.

However, if you want a Boocase Door Made by a Craftsman, then read the following content below.

Before you buy, please be sure to know what you are buying.

For example, you have a choice between wood work made from inexpensive man-made wood (particle board) and hard wood.

Hard wood is more expensive and is built to last while particle board is ok > as long as it doesn't come in contact with water!

When it comes in contact with water for example when a sink or toilet floods a room, the man-made wood will turn from Craftsmanship to Crapsmanship! It will revert to what it is made of which is saw dust and glue!  It is a cheaper alternative but has its limitations.

A Craftsman will ensure that the particle board, if you choose to use it,  is not located near the floor just in case!

Most companies build real good looking work that serves a basic purpose but why have something that is just pretty when you can have wood work that Protects your Family and Valuables from Crime and Severe Weather?

For example, a Victorian Bookcase that is a Hidden Door!  Or a Hidden Closet that protects your valuables!

Custom Cabinetry - If you really want something that is Custom Craftsmanship built to last and Made in America, the Master Carpenter that HiddenDoors.Net recommends can take a hard wood tree from your yard, cut it into slabs and mill it in to Cabinetry! Click here to see it >
